The CFA Ceramic Studio initiated a Collaborative Artwork & Fund-Raising Project called Nandito Ako.

Sponsors will have the opportunity to make a clay face that will be part of a permanent ceramic wall art, which will be installed at the ceramic studio to celebrate its founding. The names of all who participated will be written on a commemorative plaque beside the installation. The project is on-going until March 20, 2009. Below are the sponsor packages:

Student/Staff Packages
Solo: P100 – 1 artwork
Group: P300 – 4 artworks

Faculty/Alumni/Friends Packages
Solo: P200 –1 artwork
Group: P500 –3 artworks

Open to anyone interested to learn the basics of ceramic processes and forming techniques in clay.

It is a 6-session workshop, every Saturday, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The workshop will be on February 7, 14, 21, 28, March 7 and 14 from 1:00am to 4:00pm. The workshop fee is P4,500.00, inclusive of clay and firing fees. UP student, faculty and staff gets 10% discount.

The workshop will be conducted by Pablo Capati III.
