We wish one and all a bright and blessed new year ahead.
After the holiday season, we are back and gearing up for many visiting artists once again, as part of the school’s program to enhance and broaden our student’s exposure to different art forms and new techniques from expert practitioners.
At the Corredor Gallery, we are happy to welcome guest Chinese artist, Chen Hui Stefanutti with her recent works of Botanical Illustrations from January 18- February 3, 2012. Ms. Stefanutti provides a fresh perspective of both science and art closely interfacing with one and the other. She lectures on her own journeys of discovering not only the beauty of her subject matter but a deeper knowledge of the various botanical species she has illustrated.
As a follow-up to last year’s residency, Master Printmaker Devraj Dakoji is back with another guest printmaker from the New York Blackburn Studio, Justin Sanz. Their workshop will run January 31 to February 3, 2012. Ms. Lim will be conducting classes for printmaking students as an adjunct professor this January and February.
